Mary Matha Cultural Forum Ltd is a registered charity and cultural organisation dedicated to promoting literature, performing arts, music, visual arts, craft and community arts while fostering unity, creativity and social inclusion across Australia.
We are committed to preserving, promoting and celebrating the literature, performing arts, music, visual arts, craft and community arts that form part of the rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions of the Syro-Malabar, Indian and Kerala communities while embracing Australia’s multicultural values and encouraging cultural exchange, inclusiveness and mutual respect.
Our organisation provides opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in creative and community activities promoting these cultural forms including exhibitions, performances, education, training and awards that enrich cultural understanding and strengthen community connections.

What We Do
Mary Matha Cultural Forum Ltd delivers a diverse range of activities that promote the cultural forms of literature, performing arts, music, visual arts, craft and community arts, thereby promoting creativity, preserving cultural heritage and strengthening community connections.
- Arts & Culture – Music, dance, drama, visual arts, craft, community arts and literature exhibitions and performances.
- Arts Education – Workshops, training programs, masterclasses, youth development and opportunities for emerging artists performers in music, dance, drama, visual arts, craft, community arts and literature.

Governance
Mary Matha Cultural Forum Ltd is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors responsible for overseeing the organisation’s direction and ensuring its activities align with its charitable purpose of advancing arts, culture, and community engagement. The Board operates in accordance with the organisation’s Constitution and relevant Australian regulatory requirements.
